Required Skills:
Required Experience: A bachelor’s degree is required; a degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or closely related scientific field is preferred; education in science or business journalism is desirable. One to three years of experience writing about science and/or science-based business is required. Strong news judgement, good writing and editing skills, and good oral communication skills are required. Experience creating content for newsletters, social media, audio, and/or video are all strong assets. Along with a resume, applicants must submit three samples of their published work; multimedia examples are welcome. Tell us in a cover letter what you can bring to this reporting position.
