S&P Global Market Intelligence S&P Global Market Intelligence is seeking an enterprising journalist to cover climate and ESG news related to the energy, utility and renewable energy sectors.
The successful candidate will identify the most important news developments in the sector and craft proprietary stories on key trends.
The role requires a reporter adept at understanding the impact of climate policy and developments on the energy sector. The position will help lead our coverage of the issues, providing in-depth coverage of policy developments, corporate climate strategy and investment trends.

Responsibilities: - Write insightful original features and longform data-driven stories.
- Establish relationships with sources, analysts and industry authorities.
- Cover important spot news developments with speed, accuracy and context.
- Attend conferences and events.
What We're Looking For Basic Qualifications: - Strong writing and reporting skills, along with excellent news judgment.
- Minimum 2 years of journalism experience.
- Experience with breaking news coverage.
- Experience with feature writing.
- Ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications: - Knowledge of the climate change policy or the energy industry.
- Experience covering regulatory, financial or legal developments.
