We are looking for an experienced editor with a passion for business journalism, a knack for creative storytelling, and an eye for detail to help bring new faculty research and insights to our readers around the world. Under general direction from the Editor-in-Chief, the Senior Editor will develop compelling content, write and edit feature stories, coach staff and freelance writers, conceptualize graphics, help manage the daily editorial pipeline and production, and coordinate special projects. Harvard Business School's Working Knowledge publication distills the leading-edge research from the School's faculty into practical business insights. Executives, entrepreneurs, and academic researchers around the world turn to Working Knowledge for new thinking about management, leadership, and other pressing topics. With its headquarters inside Baker Library, the School's research nexus, the publication highlights emerging business ideas before they become mainstream practice. In addition to our website and weekly newsletter, Working Knowledge promotes its content through social media and a variety of content-sharing partnerships. This position is approved for a 2-year term (with possibility of renewal/extension) which begins on the person's first day of employment. This 2-year term limit does not apply to current Harvard employees. During the current period of COVID-19 related restrictions, this position may start as a remote position with the transition to onsite at HBS campus in Boston, MA when the office reopens.
