Job Description: General Statement of Duties: This particular job posting is an "Open Pool" position. There may or may not be available openings at this time however, when an opening does occur, the hiring manager will draw from the pool of applicants we have on file on an as needed basis.
Responsibilities:
- Incumbents of this position will operate audiovisual/television equipment; including Avid and FCP edit systems, camera systems for ENG / EFP and must be able to act as an independent producer;
- Assist the Broadcasting & Telecommunications department with operations of Media Services & the Television facilities including assisting students with the operation of production equipment. operation of television studios , set up and operation of A/V equipment, PA systems, non-linear edit systems, dub systems; and
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:- Two years education in related field or equivalent experience in media related & television field;
- Knowledge of electronic equipment / TV production equipment is required; must be able to follow instructions;
- Must be extremely flexible and work well under pressure of deadlines;
- Must be able to work well in an educational environment with faculty, staff, students and the general public;
- Must be extremely flexible with schedule including evening /weekend hours.
Additional Information:
Salary: $14.25 per hour
Hours per Week: On call as needed for special events.
