Michigan Radio, NPR's largest member station in the state, is looking for an Afternoon/Evening Newscast Editor. You will report to the News Director.You will be the primary editor for newscast spots and web posts produced by Michigan Radio reporters and shared by Michigan Public Radio Network reporters between 2pm – 10pm.Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent years of experienceAt least one year of experience as a news editor in print, digital or broadcast. Radio/Audio production skills are preferred, as is experience working in public radio newsrooms.Familiarity with Adobe Audition and NewsbossThe salary range for this position is $60,000 -$65,000; however, a higher salary may be considered for an exceptionally qualified candidate.Job
