The Team: With more than 400 journalists across five continents, S&P Global Market Intelligence is a leading provider of financial and sector news.
The Impact: The person who fills this position will write daily news coverage and do some proprietary pieces on covered companies within the group's coverage universe. This position helps the team meet its comprehensive goals , while also helping to build our brand through thought-leadership stretch assignments.
The role will focus on energy regulatory and policy developments in the power and gas sector, which significantly contribute to energy usage targets

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $42.2 - $87.6k. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.

Establish relationships with sources, analysts and industry authorities.
Cover conference calls with company executives.

What We're Looking For
Strong writing and reporting skills, along with excellent news judgment
Experience operating in a real-time news environment
Experience with breaking news coverage
Experience with feature writing
Ability to work independently
Knowledge of the renewable energy or utility industry.
Experience covering regulatory, financial, or legal developments.
