SENIOR CUSTOM CONTENT EDITOR , MIT Technology Review (TR) , to play a key role in MIT Technology Review Insights, the custom content arm of TR. Will be responsible for editing, managing, and delivering sponsored research projects, working closely with corporate clients on time-sensitive technology reports, articles, and other research. Responsibilities include research and thesis development; developmental editing and writing; the formation, execution, and management of surveys and research projects; designing editorial strategy; leading communications and developing and growing the Global Insights Panel, TR's online community of entrepreneurs, executives, and innovators; representing the company by leading panels, conference sessions, and executive meetings as necessary; collaborating closely with the Insights team, customers, sales, and other internal departments; and staying abreast of science and technology trends and ideas.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED : bachelor's degree; at least five years' experience in content strategy, journalism, publishing, editing, communications, and creating custom content; writing and editing expertise and ability to make complex topics palatable to a broad audience; public speaking skills; excellent client management, time management, communication, and customer service skills; experience in the technology industry, leading executive communications, and delivering time-sensitive projects; meticulous attention to detail; and expert-level knowledge of content development processes. PREFERRED : experience reporting on, writing about, or editing content about technology topics like artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and data technologies for a smart and tech-savvy executive audience; familiarity with Associated Press style; and experience with content management systems (WordPress) and survey development (SurveyMonkey).
