The Seattle Times, a family-owned news organization and one of the nation's premier regional news sources, is looking for a Multiplatform Copy Editor, with an emphasis on wire editing, to join our Pulitzer Prize-winning newsroom. As a key member of our team that produces content for print and for the web, you will ensure newsworthy, timely wire-service content moves rapidly from original draft to final presentation. You should be comfortable working under tight deadlines with ease while communicating closely with page designers and others on the copy desk involved in nightly print production. A successful candidate will have mastery of AP style and be familiar with selecting/editing copy from The Associated Press, The New York Times, The Washington Post and Tribune News
