Description: This is a full-time, 9-month non-tenure track lecturer position in the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication (JOMC). Lecturers teach four courses per semester in Multimedia Journalism, Mass Media Production or Public Relations. Classes will be assigned as needed by the Department Chair. Additional duties assigned by the Department Chair may include, but are not limited to, student academic advising and career mentoring, serving on departmental/college and university committees, and engaging in research and/or creative works. This position is expected to work cooperatively with faculty and staff within the Department, College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, and University.Primary Function
