The Journalism Program at Brandeis University seeks an instructor for JOUR 101: Fundamentals of Journalism, a four-credit course to be offered during the Spring 2023 semester.
This course will offer a comprehensive, rigorous grounding in the foundational concepts and underlying practices of journalism, adapted to the modern age.Â
The course will meet on campus, in person, on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings, 7:05-8:25 p.m.
Candidates with a minimum of a Bachelorâ™s degree who have an established track record for producing innovative journalism that reaches out across cultures while upholding the highest standards of the profession, will be given preference. Interested individuals should submit a cover letter and CV, and the name and contact information for two references. The deadline for first consideration is Sept. 22, 2022.
