Create, produce, write, and edit multi-media content for Nebraska Public Media News. Media content can include producing programs, segments, long and short-form news stories for television, radio, and digital audiences. Strong writing and original storytelling skills and organizational skills are vital to this position. This position will also serve as a fill-in host for radio news shows and assist in producing television news series.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in journalism, broadcasting, communications or related field plus one (1) year news reporting and/or experience in the production of news/public affairs programming; equivalent education/experience will be considered. Experience originating, developing, writing, and producing programs for local/regional/national audiences essential. Strong interpersonal, reporting and researching skills necessary. Television production, news reporting, copywriting and editing, knowledge of current events, computer literacy.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ideal candidate will have three (3) years' experience news reporting and/or experience in the production of news/public affairs programming. On-air reporting experience, production experience and/or knowledge in news production preferred. Digital editing, on-air broadcast presentation skills, ability to conduct background and broadcast interviews, producing, research and investigative reporting skills. Familiarity with podcasting helpful.
