Develops and edits medical and scientific information as part of a comprehensive public-facing cancer information delivery system. Addresses health equity and health literacy by leading the development and/or adaptation of print- and web-based cancer information to address information gaps based on the unique needs of special populations, and other projects that aim to enhance and improve existing cancer information. Serves as a highly knowledgeable advanced clinician and oncology patient care resource to the organization.
Advanced practice nurse with oncology certification is required for this position. Doctorate in nursing and advanced oncology certification are highly preferred. Experience needed in providing and managing cancer-related care and treatment for a variety of patient populations. Must have knowledge of health literacy best practices and experience curating and updating evidence-based cancer content in plain language for public-facing audiences.
