We are looking for a part-time Accountant to manage all department financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.
The position responsibilities include reconciling statements and department financial activities tracked in several software systems and making regular reports to management. This position also manages the procurement process for the department in conjunction with Baltimore City Community College and assists the college's financial comptroller with preparing for an annual audit.
Ultimately, the position provides accurate quantitative information on the financial position and transactions of the department while ensuring we're compliant with Baltimore City Community College policies, and with their guidance, State of Maryland procedures.
The position reports to the department manager.
