The Journalism Program at Brandeis University seeks an instructor for JOUR 116A
ORAL HISTORIES IN JOURNALISM: CHANGEMAKERS IN PROFILE, [4 credits] course in Fall 2023.
Students will learn how to produce high-quality, journalistically sound oral histories of people who have done important work in civil and human rights. The class will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:55-5:15 p.m.
Candidates with at least a Bachelorâ™s degree; teaching experience in audio storytelling; and extensive, award-winning professional experience in audio/radio journalism and journalistic podcasting will be given preference. Interested individuals should submit a cover letter, CV, a draft course syllabus, and names and contact information for two references. The deadline for first consideration is March 17, 2023.
