Position Function: The School of Journalism and Strategic Communication seeks a one-year, full-time, non-tenure-track faculty member to teach four courses per semester in photojournalism, news writing and reporting, and other areas as assigned; partnering with internal and external stakeholders and experts to address social problems and economic opportunities through solutions-based journalism within the curricula; managing student projects, immersive learning, and high-impact experiences. Will provide leadership for the photographic storytelling concentration.
Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in journalism or a related field from an accredited institution.
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. in journalism or a related field from an accredited institution and at least 10 years of full-time leadership experience in photojournalism or journalism.
