Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism (www.journalism.columbia.edu) invites applications for the faculty position of the John S. and James L. Knight Professor of Journalism (track and rank to be determined), specializing in data journalism. Candidates should be pioneers and leaders who are able to demonstrate scholarly and/or professional accomplishments worthy of appointment to a faculty position. They should have demonstrated experience with quantitative reporting, including but not limited to methods in data collection, analysis and visualization. Experience as a writer and editor is also welcomed.As a full-time member of our faculty, the successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with the Journalism School's Dean, Dean of Academic Affair
